The Story Behind Napa River Inn's Vineyard Photos

Take the vineyard's organized rows, captured through the lens of a camera, as seen through the artistic vision of artist and photographer Vincent Connors and Napa Valley's landscape is rendered in pure black and white art detailing the beauty of the valley's geometric abstraction. Vincent Thomas Connors is one Napa Valley's area photographers who brilliantly captures the valley's terrain through his camera lens. Many of his vineyard photos grace the Napa River Inn. You can find his work in select guest rooms - a sharp contrast to each room's brilliant palette of colors.

But Connors, who studied Fine Arts at the University of Pennsylvania and Textile and Fashion at San Francisco's Academy of Art University, isn't just applauded for his black and white vineyard photography. After his studies, Vincent worked in New York City in the fashion and textile industries. His textile experience drew him to Shanghai, China, where he and his family lived for 18 months before moving to Napa Valley.

He works across a variety of mediums, including paint, sculpture and print, and recently established Devaux Ranch Studio in Carneros as a space for his artwork creation. His work often represents themes of time and beauty through a combination of natural and industrial visual elements. You can see his stunning black and white vineyard photos on the walls of Napa River Inn.
