1st Stop: Napa Yard
Just off First Street and across from Oxbow Public Market, this beautiful new outdoor space boasts its own garden, kid-friendly open areas with lawn games, farm to table cuisine with a bit of a southern bbq influence and of course, hand-crafted cocktails that will satisfy and inspire! 2nd Stop: TORC
From Napa Yard head West on First Street towards Napa’s Main Street. Hang a right and walk about a half block and you will find a quaint restaurant tucked in amongst shops, hair salons, ice cream parlors and wine tasting rooms. Bypass them all and get your happy hour on. From 4-6PM Tuesday-Saturday, TORC offers “specialty cocktails”, “happy spirits” and “classic cocktails”, all for $7, in addition to a “bites menu”, beer and wine. 3rd Stop: Wilfred’s Lounge
If you really want to escape the wine country/wine tasting vibe after a wonderful but long day of tasting, head over to Wilfred’s Lounge, overlooking the Napa River on First Street. As soon as you step foot inside, you will be immediately transported across the Pacific to Honolulu. A modern tiki bar awaits and the rum drinks are masterpieces. 4th Stop: AVOW
Once you leave Torc, turn left and head down Main Street, crossing over both First and Second Avenues. AVOW sits closer to Third Ave and is a multi-level restaurant with a rooftop bar that showcases panoramic views of the hills just East of Napa. The cozy upper deck includes a full bar and is a loungey space to relax and sip. 5th Stop: Arbaretum
To finish up your night, head back down Main Street and make a left on First Ave. Arbaretum is down a few blocks on the left hand side of the street and you can’t miss it! The décor conveys a Gatsby-esque vibe in a very quaint, cozy space. Grab a seat at the bar to get up close and personal watching the mixologists work their magic. They specialize in creative cocktails served up in the perfect glassware. Owned by Napa Valley Distillery, this is one of the newest bars to hit the downtown Napa scene in recent years.
