There is magic in the arts.
Art enriches life in so many ways -- by creating beauty, by making difficult subjects more palatable, by bringing people together, and by inspiring us to think beyond the everyday. Just like Napa Valley’s wine, food and hospitality, Napa Valley Arts in April is about celebration of life and budding inspiration, so to speak.
Arts in April is an extensive set of locally produced and presented arts events paired with Napa Valley's best wine and culinary offerings. The events are sponsored by local businesses, craftsmen, performers, and artists of all kinds and include music, photography, multi-media, murals, etc. The list is vast.
This April will be the seventh annual Napa Valley Arts in April that will showcase more than 40 arts and culture events across Napa County from American Canyon to Calistoga and in between. In addition to the independently-produced events that dot the idyllic valley at wineries, museums and galleries, the county will host five central city events that celebrate each town’s unique scene including Calistoga, St. Helena, Yountville, Napa and American Canyon.
With cultural offerings from “FLOW: Arts at the River” - a dynamic community showcase of street art, buskers and a taste of some of Napa’s best food trucks at Oxbow Commons in Napa - to “The Art of Cheese” at St. Supery Winery in St. Helena - where guests will be able to take home their own art piece, instructed by Mike Geno - there’s something for everyone.
So we challenge you this Spring, in a time of rebirth and renewal, to find that unique cultural offering that’s off the beaten path. Jump to something new and creative, experience and immerse yourself in art.
