We are honored to showcase Laurie Gordon, our Chef Concierge.
Leading the concierge department at the Inn, Laurie -- A third-generation Napan -- has notched 33 years as a hospitality veteran, finding her passion in hotels after returning home from her UCLA studies.
Laurie is a founding board member of Les Clefs d'Or USA. Les Clefs d'Or USA is an arm of the prestigious organization of Les Clefs d'Or International which is comprised of 3,500 of the world's most exceptional concierge. A French word, Les Clefs d'Or means "keys of gold," and Laurie, ever so knowledgeable, delivers on this, unlocking a world of adventure for Napa River Inn guests. Also a founding member of Napa Valley Conference & Visitor's Bureau, Laurie was awarded the inaugural "Angel of the Year" award -- a reflection of her commitment to the Napa Valley area and all of its offerings.
Prior to finding her way to Napa River Inn, Laurie spent 24 years at Silverado Resort, where she mastered the business from the ground up, serving as the Chef Concierge with a focus on hands-on training and exemplary service. She also was part of the opening team at The Carneros Inn, managing a staff of 50 employees. A member of The Carneros Inn executive committee, she influenced many customer-touching points - concierge, reception and housekeeping - which ultimately led to Laurie being honored as the Chamber of Commerce Hospitality of the Year inaugural recipient.
Undoubtedly committed to her home town and all of its happenings, Laurie loves her job as Napa River Inn's Chef Concierge, where her main focus remains on our guests and the memories she can add to each stay.
