Three Distinct Settings At Our Napa Valley Inn
When it comes to selecting rooms at our Napa Valley bed and breakfast , it all depends on what you're looking for. Each of our three buildings has its own charm and character. But no matter where you end up, you'll enjoy our special guest features like complimentary breakfast delivered right to your room, welcoming pet-friendly services, and effortless access to downtown Napa's vibrant attractions, world-class cuisine, and unforgettable wines. It's this engaging blend of comfort and convenience that makes our Napa hotel such an interesting place to visit. - Historic Building -- These rooms are considered our best offered and are situated in the
original Hatt building built in 1884, now listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. Enjoy
spacious rooms with fireplaces, king canopy beds, and a separate seating area. Historic Deluxe rooms
feature slipper foot bathtubs and walk–in showers. When constructing the tile floors, a piece of
the original maple flooring was removed and on the back side handwritten in pencil, was the inscription, "Vernon Gerrish, Cadillac, Michigan, August 29th, 1885."
This piece of flooring is now on display in the hotel's lobby.
- Embarcadero Building -- The Embarcadero Building was the former site of Napa 's original Embarcadero, (meaning landing point in Spanish) and the home of two Banner warehouses constructed in 1862. It was later acquired by Charles Carpy for wine storage. Captain A. Hatt purchased the property in 1895. Behind the current Embarcadero building, built in 1997, Captain Hatt constructed a wharf on the Napa River in 1897. The wharf included a derrick for loading and unloading steamships and mooring Hatt's personal schooner and small shipping fleet of steamships. Today, the Embarcadero building has 26 elegant guest rooms, with a Yacht Cabin décor featuring cherry wood, porthole mirrors, wainscoting, and coffered paneling.
- Plaza Building -- The Riverbend Plaza and 32-room Plaza Hotel Building occupy the space formerly contained in three warehouse buildings constructed by Captain A. Hatt in the 1890s. Featuring spacious rooms overlooking the river, these guest rooms offer a place to relax and enjoy the gardens.
